Issues Management and Analysis
Strategy that works must be informed by skillful analysis that itself is supported by solid research. Accordingly, my approach to issues management involves
-
assessing the client organization itself to determine internal alignment around goals, audiences and priorities.
-
researching the landscape environment to ascertain the playing field as well as historical context that inform a perspective
-
developing messaging with the internal stakeholders of the issue
-
outlining communications imperatives and priorities to inform a plan.

My experience in issues management has spanned a broad range of health care issues such as regulatory actions, congressional investigations, pricing actions, company boycotts, high profile adverse events, clinical trials issues, compulsory licensing issues and adulterated products. My background as a lawyer provides a unique asset in helping to bridge communications goals with legal requisites.
