The unique aspect of my background is that I combine my experience in communications with my training as a lawyer.

For over 25 years I have worked as a consultant providing communications counsel to a wide range of pharmaceutical clients, medical societies and patient organizations. This experience covered everything from working the pharmaceutical companies presenting their case to FDA in considering the approval of new medications, to crisis and issues management, to helping executives tell their story in a media interview, presentation or in written word. My work has spanned a wide range of issues, across therapeutic categories. For many years I wrote a blog called Eye on FDA that explored the highly nuanced environment of healthcare communications.
